Alice Virginia “Midge” Caudill, age 64 of Lynchburg, VA formerly of Tazewell, VA died Sunday, December 23, 2012 at her home in Lynchburg, VA. Born June 23, 1948 in Tazewell, VA, she was a daughter of the late Oscar “Cotton” Caudill and Mattie Lamie Caudill. Midge worked in the Tazewell area as a dental hygienist for many years before moving to Lynchburg.

She is survived by two sons, Kevin S. McCall and wife, Shawna of Wytheville, VA and Jason S. McCall and wife, Ginger of Evington, VA; three grandsons, Kolby McCall, Bryson McCall, and Logan McCall; two sisters, Phyllis Lewis and husband, Jack of Wilmington, DE and Almeta Rose and husband, Don of North Tazewell, VA; one brother, Darryl Caudill and wife, Nancy of Springville, VA; nine nieces, Leslie Rose McMullen, Ashley Rose Fisher, Lindsey Rose Settle, Melissa Cloud, Jamie Cornwell Asbury, Dara Bohon, Dee Dee Cox, Kristi Brown, and Amy Tate.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM Friday, December 28, 2012 at Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home Chapel in Tazewell, VA with the Reverend J.C. Steele and the Reverend Kenneth Gillespie officiating. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Tazewell, VA. Pallbearers will be John Fisher, Jimmy Settle, Patrick McMullen, H.S. Caudill, Tim Sargent, and Phillip Johnson. Honorary pallbearers are Darryl Caudill, Kolby McCall, Bryson McCall, Logan McCall, Don Rose and Jack Lewis.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Friday.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be directed to the ASPCA, P.O. Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090-6929
